拍品描述: A Zhangzhou enamelled 'compass' dish and a Zhangzhou baluster jar Ming Dynasty, 17th centuryThe first inscribed to the centre 太極 Tienxi Yi (Unity Under Heaven), within a twenty-four character inscription representing the points of the Chinese compass and four character roundels to the cavetto; the jar decorated in red, green and turquoise enamels with shaped panels of birds amongst flowers and rockwork, the shoulder with Buddhist lions and brocade motifs.
