A YELLOW JADE 'QIN' SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1850Of flattened ovoid form with a short neck and a flat lip, supported on a concave foot, carved in low relief with the top view of a qin on one side and the underside of the qin on the other, wrapped with two pieces of brocade, incised with a diaper pattern and tied in a knot over the qin, the stone with a yellow tinge and cloudy white inclusions. 2 5/8in (6.5cm) high
