拍品描述: Persia or India. 17th/18th c. Iron with fine bas-relief and koftgari inlay. The helmet bowl worked from one piece and crowned on the vertex by a long, square pointy tip in the manner of a spear. At the front there is an adjustable splint to protect the face. At both sides two small pods for a feather decoration. As neck guard a light chain mail is fastened around the lower edge of the helmet, which is longer at the back. Height 23cm, ? 16cm. Condition A/B.
