罕见骑狼佛母鎏金铜板
西藏 18世纪 高60cm/宽55cm/厚5cm
铜板錾刻,鎏金。佛母骑狼,右手上扬挥舞宝剑,左手端宝盆,头后圆形背光。舟形神龛内正上方饰说法佛,向下其次对称为两尊释迦牟尼佛、白绿度母、成对羊、狮、象。铜板下部中央饰四臂观音,左右为释迦牟尼佛。此板应为寺庙内大型祭供挂像的一部分。品相等级A/B。

Tibet. 18th c. Copper bronze in repoussé and fire gilded. The central female deity riding on a wolf - recognizable by its characteristic mouth, paws and bushy tail. With her right hand she swings a sword over her head, in her left she holds a bowl of wishing jewels. She wears long garments and a small crown, her hair is tied high and a round aureole shines behind her head. The niche surrounding the deity shows various Buddha and Buddhist deities. Centrally above the female deity the teaching Buddha with dharmacakra mudra, below the four-armed Bodhisattva Shadakshari Lokeshvara. Both figures are flanked by the historical Buddha Shakyamuni. At eye level with the main figure are on the left the White and on the right the Green Tara. Below three mythical animals - ram, lion and elephant - arranged in pairs. The relief may have been part of a larger altarpiece in a temple. Height 60cm, width 55cm, depth 5cm. Condition A/B.
