Circa 1970s. NOTE: Editions of the same lithograph are also titled MAGIC OF SAFAD. Zvi Livni, Polish born Jewish artist, studied at the Art Academy in Warsaw. Moved to Israel as a young man and was a founding member of the Kibbutz Artzi (Artist Group) and Artists' Colony in Safed. He continued his studies in Germany, France and Italy. Livni's first One-Man Exhibition in Tel-Aviv was held in 1936. His artworks are held in museums and private collections in Israel, U.S.A., Canada and Europe, including Residence of the President of the State of Israel, Jerusalem; Museum of Modern Art, Brandeis University, Yale Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum
