拍品描述: A RUSSIAN ICON OF THE VIRGIN OF THE BURNING BUSH, 18TH CENTURY
depicted in the center of the green-blue rhombus, the Virgin Mary holds the symbols connecting the Heaven and the Earth, with a red rhombus enclosing the symbols of the four evangelists around it, a raised border is decorated with a tri-color floral ornament. Egg tempera, gold leaf and gesso on wood panel with a kovcheg and a rubchik. One insert splint on the back. 40.3 x 35 cm (15 7/8 x 13 3/4 in.)
