拍品描述: E. Howard & Co. Street Post Clock. Large double 36 in. metal "Day" dials signed "E. Howard & Co., Boston" with gilt Roman hour numerals and large spade hands; quality weight driven movement with pierced plates painted green with gilt stenciling, long wood pendulum stick with serial number stamped above the suspension "3495", has weight and pulley. Tall cast iron street post with fancy crest. Clock has been well maintained and is in running condition. This clock was not dismantled and moved to the gallery, it remains at the Plainville MA. estate where it can be viewed prior to the auction by appointment. The clock will be available for pickup by the buyer from the estate location. 140 in. high.
