拍品描述: 2 Pc. Attr: Karpen Carved Mahogany Parlor Set. Has a French rococo style center crest with medallion and swirling filigree, figural winged griffins facing upwards on the corners, tufted upholstered backs and padded curled arms; the arm fronts are heavily carved with swirling filigree over seashells and ball & claw front feet. Matching Settee and armchair in very good condition, has 2 very minor carving chips and a split in one back leg of the chair, enhanced original finish. Settee: 43 in. high x 62 in. wide x 26 in. deep – Armchair: 41 in. high x 35 in. wide x 26 in. deep.
