拍品描述: China, ca. 1368 to 1912 CE. This is a carving of a piece of jade that is a milky white on one side and a deep black on the other. It has a hole through the top for suspension. The design is of a small animal, probably a rodent, with swirling carved details to indicate fur and a long thin tail drawn up over its back. Size: 2.4" L x 1.5" W (6.1 cm x 3.8 cm).

Provenance: Ex - Ex- Paul and Louise Bernheimer collection, Cambridge, MA and Laguna Woods, CA., acquired before 1980.
