拍品描述: Blanc de Chine porcelain. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th cent. Rare and enchanting porcelain depiction in this fragile many-armedness! According to the small Buddha image in the crown, this presents a form of Avalokiteshvara, Guanyin in China. Exposed structure over an open-worked hexagonal base with dragon, flaming pearl and sea spray, above a lotus pedestal. Guanyin sits in padmasana, the hands in her lap and before the chest, raised in gestures of protection and teaching. The hands hold attributes, prayer beads below, flaming pearl, vajra, vase etc. Fine pearl necklace, also on the crown.
