拍品描述: Jade. China, Eastern Zhou Dynasty, approx. 5th cent. BC Straight elongated form, arched upper and lower side with relief decor, the slim side surfaces are smooth. The relief offers various forms of spirals, some as C, but also lineal patterns, some as grids, also individual circles like dragon eyes. Narrow loop canal through the entire length. Other beads sharing the same features are published in A. Salmony, Archaic Chinese Jades from the Edward and Louise B. Sonnenschein Collection, Chicago 1952, Pl. 87, nos. 1-9.
