拍品描述: Two coloured paintings from the Bhagavad Gita. North India, Kashmir, Mid 19th cent. Two finely rendered paintings, a double-page from a book of miniatures, which offers a green tree with a dense canopy on one side, housing numerous, in part humorously depicted birds – two are substantially larger than the others – and a red fence on the ground. On the other page is a tree with red fruits. Gold frame. SIZE APPROX. 14 x 9,5 CM EACH
