拍品描述: Gold. China, presumably Tang to Liao-dynasty (until 12th cent.) Finest, very elaborately rendered miniature work made of gold plating, depicting a stag with antlers and an elevated leg. This animal is also wearing a tiny crown in the form of a lotus flower as well as a movable necklace, and is entirely scaled. However, the scales are not engraved but densely applied! Furthermore, a small saddle cloth on his back with decorative patterns.
