拍品描述: Jade. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th cent. to around 1900 A very fine work, which presents a vigorously depicted dragon within a circular framework. The dragon is coiled many times, has scales, lively rendition of his head, tail split, tiny claws crafted in open-work. The fine pattern on the border embodies archaic spirit with grid fields and stretched spirals. The grommets are gracefully curved and elegant.
