The Angkor temple architecture is found to be unique, so are the ceramic vessels that were never meant for export that reflect this universe in a truly singular way. Ceramic art of the Khmer is rare. Being produced in large quantities possibly only during a shorter period of time – from about the 11th to the13th century, a relatively small amount of objects in good condition are preserved.
