Gold with fillings. Vietnam, old Champa, presumably 9th to 10th cent.
Both earrings are round and bulky with correspondingly large, conical tapering apertures. Fine beaded seams forming waved lines along the ridges, 6 ribbed thorns protruding between them, separated by small round protuberances. These gold cast adornments are assembled from parts and possibly filled out. See note.
