First half 20th century, England or France. The single fish modeled with open mouth and tack teeth in old if not original blue grey and pink tones. The body cut from the solid, proper right side with old copper plates in the area of gills. A riveted copper plate affixed to the back behind the dorsal fin and also between the dorsal fin and head the purpose was to attach hanging chains for display. Structurally very good with weathering and paint wear and loss commiserating with age. All fins are original. Proper left pelvic fin with old sheet copper stabilizer. Good to very good overall. A realistic example. Condition: Dimensions: 53-1/2" x 22" x 6".
