Late 19th century, France. The oval top with filigree and a swing handle in the form of intertwined vinery, terminating in flower heads. Opening to a conforming interior with pale green silk lined, lock is engraved "Maison Boissier". Box is similarly decorated with floral lattice work and fitted with original key, raised on a woven vinery base, also lined with tortoiseshell. Tortoiseshell is dried and cracked with age, silk lining with some staining, the brass frame and filigree work is in very good condition. Condition: Dimensions: 4" x 7-1/2" x 6".
