Second half 19th century, American. The shield shaped plaque applied with scrolling leaf tips centering a paint decorated bust portrait of a Native American Chieftain with headdress within a border of six electrical light fittings, now with four red light bulbs. The plaque retains the original electrical circuitry (untested) and partial iron bracket for fastening to the side of the wagon. Structurally very good, no repairs or damages noted. Old painted surface intact. Normal expected in use wear and weathering. Very good overall. Condition: Dimensions: 26" x 22".
