拍品描述: Vietnamese Nguyen Dynasty Minh Mang Period Blue & White Porcelain Floor Vase - This spectacular piece is a porcelain floor vase from the Minh Mang reign of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam. The vase is elaborately decorated with a blue glazed background and "cut out" white clouds and a scrolling dragon. The dragon is chasing a flaming pearl, which is associated with spiritual energy, wisdom, prosperity, power or immortality. This piece has excellent investment potential, as it is thought by experts around the world and avid collectors that due to the rapid modernization of Vietnam, Vietnamese antiques will within the next ten years be more valuable than Chinese antiques.
