拍品描述: Description: CRYSTAL SKULL WITH VAJRAPANI AND ACHALA.Himalayan region. 19th-20th c.Rock crystal carved and polished, with metal mountings and gemstones like turquoise and coral. The skull including jaw and crowning stupa carved from a large stone. The skull cap covered with fine metal tendrils, framed with pearl strings and garlands. On both sides of the stupa each a three dimensional figure in front of a flaming mandorla. The jaw lined with a flame border. Crystal skulls were used by shamans in the Himalayan region. Weight 8550g, height 21.5cm, width 28.5cm. Condition B. Signs of wear, stupa chipped.Please note that this object is made of materials, for whose export into countries outside the EU contract area a permission due to Cites regulations is necessary. Die Sch?delkappe bedeckt mit feinen Ranken, gerahmt mit Perlschnüren und Girlanden. Zu beiden Seiten der Stupa jeweils eine der beiden plastischen Figuren vor Feuermandorla. Der Kiefer ges?umt mit Flammenbordüre.Kristallsch?del wurden von Schamanen im Himalaya-Gebiet benutzt. Gewicht 8550g, H?he 21,5cm, Breite 28,5cm. Zustand B. Gebrauchsspuren, Stupa besto?en.
