拍品描述: Description: RARE AND IMPORTANT PHOTO ALBUM OF THE MUTINY OF THE NORTHERN MILITARISTS WITH YUAN SHIKAI.China. Dated March 1st, 1912, titled "Revolution in Beijing" (Beijing Mutiny). Some of the photos from S.J. Betines & Co., photo studio near the German Legation. Album with 62 paper prints in black and white, pasted on cardboard, bound by hand and labeled. The date refers to the day after the mutiny of the Northern Militarists (Beiyang Junfa), who wanted to force Yuan Shikai to take over presidency in Beijing and not in Nanjing. On the evening of the 29th February 1912 there had been looting in shops and banks. Foreign troops marched into the so-called Legation Quarter to protect their legations. Photo no. 3: One of the entrances to Dongjiaomin Xiang (East Legation Street) with the buildings of the legations, in the background the Chongwen city gate. No. 5: Barricade at the Fuwen Gate (pailou) and the Ruijin Building. No. 8-16: Entry of foreign troops. No. 17-35: Killed looters and destruction. No. 36: Yuan Shikai and the Nanjing government delegation with their chief, Cai Yuanpei. No. 61: Yuan Shikai. Album mit 62 Fotos, von Hand nummerierte Papierabzüge in Schwarzwei?, auf Karton geklebt. Die Datierung bezieht sich auf den Tag nach dem Aufstand der N?rdlichen Militaristen (Beiyang Junfa), die damit erzwingen wollten, dass Yuan Shikai sein Amt als provisiorischer Pr?sident in Peking und nicht in Nanjing antreten sollte. Am Abend des 29. Februar 1912 war es zu Plünderungen in Gesch?ften und Banken gekommen und ausl?ndische Truppen marschierten zum Schutz in das sog. Legation Quarter. III. 1912」（北京兵变，1912年3月1日）。北京兵变，又名“京保津兵变”，1912年2月29日发生于北京，时在清王朝刚刚宣布逊位。北洋军队哗变，打到南京国民政府专使团下榻的东交民巷使馆区，发生骚乱、抢劫和纵火事件，外国军队根据《辛丑条约》进入北京保护使馆的安全。兵变的结果是南方革命党人接受袁世凯在他的根据地北京就职，中华民国定都北京。相片编号3：东交民巷使馆区的一个入口，远景为崇文门城楼；编号5：敷文牌楼前封锁带与近旁的瑞金大楼；编号8-16：外国军队进驻；编号17-35：暴乱横尸街头与残垣断壁；编号36：袁世凯与南京临时国民政府专使团合影，蔡元培为专使。编号61：袁世凯。部分相片由当时德国公使馆附近名为S.J.
