拍品描述: This oil painting, titled SHADY COVE, captures a very quiet moment in the early morning hours of summer looking across a cove towards some houses on the distant shore. It was painted by contemporary New England artist Robin Wessman. He was formally trained as a fine art painter at the University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth (BFA), and Ohio University (MFA). He is well-known mostly for his marine and landscape paintings inspired by the New England coastline. This oil painting is on stretched canvas and signed in the lower left corner. It is mounted in a black and gold wood frame. The painting is signed on the front, and also signed and titled on the back.
