拍品描述: This striking image was painted by contemporary New England artist Robin Wessman. Titled CALM DAWN, this oil painting captures the early morning sunlight on a quiet little cove in the quaint town of Chatham Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The artist was formally trained as a fine art painter at the University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth (BFA), and Ohio University (MFA). He is well-known mostly for his marine and landscape paintings inspired by the New England coastline. This oil painting is on stretched canvas and signed in the lower right corner. It is mounted in a gold wood frame. It is also titled and signed on the back edge of the canvas. Painting dimensions: Image - 12"h x 16"w; Framed – 16 1/2"h x 201/2"w.
