拍品描述: A lovely sunset illuminates this circa 1850 California oil painting. In the foreground a man and woman fish on the banks of a river, and in the background we can see an old water-wheel mill. The painting is in excellent condition, and is unsigned. It was cleaned and restored many years ago, and is an a newer frame marked with the label of a Santa Barbara frame shop.
