China. The figure is deeply carved and dressed in long, layered robes, gently leaning toward her right side to follow the horn's natural curve. The face is rendered with a serene expression, a subtle smile, and downcast eyes beneath an elaborate topknot; she holds a ruyi sprig in her left hand, while a branch bearing two peaches is tied to her sash. The horn displays warm honey tones with pale mustard highlights and deep brown patches.Provenance: British trade. Acquired from an old private estate in near Stansted, United Kingdom.
