Weight: 8 g – 13 g
Dimensions: Length 3.3 cm – 3.6 cm

Chung Dzi beads are characterized by striped or banded patterns that often form naturally within the agate. They are traditionally believed to provide stability, grounding energy, spiritual benefit, and protection to the wearer, making them a popular choice among Tibetan monks and practitioners of Vajrayana Buddhism. They are most often worn as protective amulets and are sometimes ground into a powder for use in traditional Tibetan medicine. The artisans who make the Dzi embellish the lines and shapes of the beads using ancient methods such as darkening with plant sugar and heat, bleaching and etching white lines with natron, and protecting certain areas with fat, clay, wax, or a similar substance.

The Nine-Stripe Dzi bead is a powerful symbol of spiritual awakening, wisdom, and longevity. In Tibetan culture, the number nine is considered sacred, representing completion, enlightenment, and the culmination of spiritual practice. The nine stripes are believed to enhance mental clarity, resilience, and karmic purification, guiding the wearer toward higher consciousness and personal transformation.
