The plaque is carved in the shape of a ruyi-head, the upper surface is decorated in relief with a leafy tree bearing to peaches beside a bamboo spray and rocks, all enclosed within a conforming ruyi-shaped border. The box is also of ruyi-form with a square-section hollow to the interior.

Condition: There are a few thin cracks to the jade (the longest approx. 4.5 cm. long), and a three small apertures for attachment.
There is a small rough area underneath the rim of the plaque.
There are a few small nicks to the extremities of the plaque and the box.
