AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE RITUAL TRIPOD VESSEL, JUE, QING DYNASTY

China, 1644-1912. The deep body is raised on tall blade-shaped legs and cast with a band enclosing two taotie masks against a leiwen ground, one centered by the handle issuing from a dragon head, below a pair of capped posts rising from the rim.

Provenance: From a private estate in southern England.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, small nicks, light scratches.
