A LARGE CHINESE CARVED JADE FIGURE OF A RESTING WATER BUFFALO. The large figure carved in pale celadon colored jade with russet skin and raised on a carved hardwood and inlaid silver wire stand. The jade length 14.25 inches (36 cm). The jade height 5.25 inches (13.25 cm). Overall length 16 inches (40.5 cm) and total height 8 inches (20.3).
A CHINESE CARVED WHITE JADE BOULDER, PROBABLY QING DYNASTY. Finely carved in an even toned semi-translucent pale celadon colored jade, with two immortal figures within a recessed portico, the verso with a small mountain top pavilion, raised on a carved and pierced hardwood stand depicting fungus. The jade height 2.875 inches (7.3 cm). Total height 3.875 inches (9.8 cm).
Of flattened, rounded form, the bubble-suffused glass has blackish-grey and traces of red swirls floating down the bottle, the effect suggestive of a thin veil mist. Capped with an amber stopper. Qing Dynasty period.

Of double gourd shape, the snuff bottle rests on an ovular foot and topped with a turquoise inlaid bronze stopper, the body depicts a scene of a bird perching on a tree issuing from rock-work on both sides. Qing Dynasty period.
