拍品描述: This Chinese cloisonn jar is in the form of one of the seven immortals, “Longevity”, God of long life. It measures 4 inches tall and is 2 5/8 inches in diameter around the waist. Note: This item tested positive for traces of gold by U. S. Customs agents. This item is authentic cloisonn. Brass wires were hand bent to form the entire design and then fused onto a copper body by heat. Each compartment of the design was then filled with the desired color of paint, fired in a kiln and then sanded by hand. Because of the paint shrinking when fired in the kiln, this process had to be repeated several times before the piece was finally polished by hand. This is NOT imitation cloisonn that has had its design stamped onto the body of the piece. SHIPPING IS 15 WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL US. ALL OTHER STATES AND COUNTRIES PLEASE CONTACT FOR SHIPPING QUOTE.
