Vietnam, 19th century elements probably from Nam Dinh in Tonkin, several later elements
Quadrangular in shape, with two protruding lateral ends, it features a moving wooden apron richly carved with magpies, prunus, lions and Thô / Longevity characters. The various elements are held together by a plywood plate, a later addition. The front opens to two sliding glass doors in the center, and to two curved leaves on the sides, richly decorated with mother-of-pearl inlays, including equestrian scenes.

Note: Some elements may date from the reign of Minh Mang. The wood used could be "mun wood".
