A WHITE JADE OVAL 'SCHOLAR' PLAQUE
18th/19th century Finely carved in low relief to one side with a scholar on a log raft amongst turbulent waves, below swirling clouds and a confronting chilong border, the reverse with a four-line poetic inscription and repeated twin chilong motif. 5.2cm (2 1/8in) long.
