A LONGQUAN CELADON 'LOTUS' JAR AND A CIZHOU 'HARE'S FUR' BOWL
Song Dynasty The jar of squat baluster form, moulded around the exterior with a band of upright lotus petals below the sloping shoulder, covered in a soft sea-green glaze; the bowl with shallow rounded sides, covered in a black glaze with streaked 'hare's fur' markings and russet flecking at the rim. The bowl 17.5cm (6 7/8in) diam. (2).
