拍品描述: Description: Second half 19th century, France. The cast ormolu brass case with fixed carrying handle and flattened columns on the corners centering beveled glass panels framing ornate pierced scrolling brass panels on three sides. The top of case with beveled glass window behind a repeating mechanism above the enameled dial with Arabic numeral chapter ring and blued steel hands, all above the frieze applied with delicate cast fleur-de-lis within scrollwork, raised on suppressed turned feet. The eight day brass movement is spring-driven, and striking on gong. Clock is offered with key. SIZE: 7-3/4" h (including fixed handle) x 3-3/4" w x 3-1/4" d. CONDITION: Movement appears clean and operational. Repeater mechanism in need of some adjustment. Otherwise very good. 52829-38
