拍品描述: Indian royalty jeweled portrait paintings on ivory. Portraits on ivory of Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal (for whom the Taj Mahal was built in Agra). The paintings are incredibly finely detailed with gilt decoration and the figure's clothing is jeweled. The background has a view of the Taj Mahal. Unsigned. In great condition. Mid 20th century. Each painting measures 6 inches high x 4 inches wide. Framed together, measuring 10 inches high x 14 inches wide. Illicit products made from wildlife are not available for delivery within the United States to states which prohibit same or for international delivery without CITES and other permits which are the responsibility of the buyer.
