拍品描述: English faux tortoise silverplate 19th century tobacco jar. The 19th century jar has silver plated scalloped trim with a bail handle and is topped with a brass tortoise finial. Decorated with four panels of faux tortoise and fronted with a draped brass shield cartouche. The jar itself is a white pottery. Good condition with wear from use and a one inch crack on the side. Measures 6 inches high x 5.3 inches diameter.
