拍品描述: Two Fumio Fujita Japan modern abstract woodblock prints. Fumio Fujita Japan ( 1933 -). Each Japanese print is signed bottom right, one F. Fujita 1978, 73/100. Good condition with light mat burn, not glued down. The other signed F. Fujita 1979, 58/200. Image measures 14.9 inches high x 10.7 inches wide. Sheet measures 17.3 inches high x 12.5 inches wide. Frame measures 21 inches high x 17 inches wide. The second image measures 19.5 inches high x 10.7 inches wide. Sheet measures 16.5 inches high x 12.5 inches wide. Frame measures 19 inches high x 15 inches wide. Both sold together as one lot. From Woodblockprint.com.au: Fumio Fujita was born in Japan in 1933 and studied at the Musashino College of Fine Arts and began creating woodblock prints in 1963. He has always tried to maintain a type of minimalist style within the landscape genre, has been very successful and is one of the few present day artists to have been contracted by a major Japanese woodblock publisher at the same time as retaining his independence and so continuing to create woodblocks prints himself.
