拍品描述: George Jones 19th century English majolica pottery pitcher has a high relief tree form design with dogwood blossoms, holly leaves and blue tit birds perched atop each lid. The interiors are finished in a turquoise glaze. The underside is marked with the George Jones GJ stamp. Lid of jam jar reglued, all other pieces in good condition. Jam jar measures 6.5 inches high x 3.5 inches diameter; butter dish measures 3.8 inches high x 5 inches diameter. Sold together as one lot.
