Villeroy & Boch - Blue Onion porcelain from the Kennedy Family and sold later at the Sotheby's 2005 auction. The 19 pieces in the Blue Onion pattern, comprising three oval serving platters (largest measures 24 inches.), five salad plates, a lunch plate, two dessert plates, a divided oval serving dish, a square notched serving bowl, a sauce boat, printed and impressed factory marks. Some damage and discoloration overall. Each piece also bears the original Sotheby's paper lot label. Includes a copy of the Sotheby's February 15-17, 2005 auction catalog entitled, Property from Kennedy Homes. The set, lot number 171, is pictured in a color photo on page 121 of the catalog.
