Ornate and elaborate 19th century Continental silver centerpiece. Unmarked. The arresting silverplated centerpiece is cast with undulating dragon form support and cast grapevine shell and acanthus borders. The shell form handles have full-body, draped putti holding birds aloft in one hand. No monogram. Good condition, light wear from normal use. The lift out center tray has silver plate loss. Weighs 34 pounds. Measures 31 inches long x 16.5 inches wide x 12 inches high.
