Late Louis XV style 19th century marquetry marble top chest. Chest has floral marquetry on the front with basket weave inlay on the sides and front, brass ormolu mounts. The beveled marble top has a repaired crack on the back corner. The chest shows wear from use and has replaced drawer bottoms. The top drawer has been reglued with added drawer slides on the bottom. Original key and locks. Measures 31.7 inches high x 41.5 inches wide x 20 inches deep.
