Large English 19th century figured mahogany lap desk. The cabinet is fitted with an interior, lift-out tray which reveals three interior drawers. Brass strapped trim with shield medallion with engraved coat of arms. It retains the original nickel plated candle holders and inkwell. The case has campaign style brass handles on the sides. Good condition with wear from normal use. Measures 7 inches high x 19.8 inches wide x 10.8 inches deep when closed.
