拍品描述: Bob Gruen (born 1945) a€“ American photographer YOKO ONO & JOHN LENNON a€“ NYC December 1980 1980, Silver gelatin print, Titled, Placed, and Dated lower left, Very large format pencil signature: (Bob Gruen) NYC, 81 lower right. Yoko Ono, and John Lennon, Yoko holding John close, with long jeans, buttoned up jackets, dark sunglasses, (yoko with reflections) and French berets, on a wide NYC street, December 1980. DETAILS: - SIZE: 12 x 16 inches (photo) / 23-1/2 x 18 inches (framed). - CONDITION REPORT: This fine and rare silver gelatin print is in good condition with minimal signs of age and wear 2 small water stains to the lower corners of the matting (no damage to the photo). Housed in its original black stick frame. BACKGROUND: Bob Gruen was one of the most well known and respected photographers in Rock and Roll. By the mid '70s he was already regarded as one of the foremost documenter of the scene working with major attractions such as John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Kiss etc., and also covering the emerging New Wave and Punk bands including The New York Dolls, Patti Smith, Clash, Sex Pistols, Ramones & Blondie. Bob Gruen born 1945 was the personal photographer of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
