拍品描述: A Monumental L & F Moreau Spelter & Marble French Female Figuarl Art Nouveau Chiming Mantle Clock, circa 1880 featuring a reclining female with jug spewing water in mid thought, beside the flower foliate adorned clock, signed white enamel dial (clean with no damages) with Arabic numeral hour markers, fancy open work gilt hands, signed Japy Freres movement, the base of the clock signed L & F Moreau, the figure and the clock raised on a plinthed Carrera marble with gilt metal floral accents in the front panels, comes with original key, bell and pendulum and has a very sweet melodic chime you only get from antique well crafted French craftsmanship. The previous owner had their decorator remove the 5 gilt bronze and put felt bottoms on the clock (not to scratch the furniture). The good news is I have all 5 feet and you are welcome to put them back on to bring the clock back to its purist original state. This clock would make an impressive addition to any fine household or collection. DETAILS: - SIZE: 21-1/2" Length x 10" Width x 17-1/2" Height (without feet) / 19-1/2" Height (with feet). - WEIGHT: 42lbs. - CONDITION: Light normal wear, excellent working condition, excellent dial, excellent sculpture and clock, overall and excellent must have timepiece. - *NOTE: We have a picture of the bottom with the feet (let us know if you want to see it). - **NOTE: This item is large, heavy and fragile, posted shipping is just an estimate.
