Original Star Trek "First Contact" movie prop offered and sold at the legendary Christie's "40 Years of Star Trek: The Collection" Sale which as held at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on October 5th-7th, 2006. Christie's Sale #1778, lot #77. The lot was estimated 200-300 and achieved 4,200 with the buyers premium.
The sale broke all records and far exceeded auction estimate on most lots yielding in excess of 7,100,000 (7.1 Million USD).
