Oil on Board CONSTANTIN WESTCHILOFF (1877-1945) "CAPRI", signed C. Westchiloff-- (lower left) and titled Capri-- (lower right), is a fine impressionist depiction of Capri from the floral form trellis veranda, rich with thick impasto application and color. From across the room one truly feels the rich sense of depth as the painting draws you into the scene, housed in its original parcel gilt and carved period frame. The record price of over 100,000USD for slightly larger and more detailed Westchiloff was also depicting "Capri". This work would make an impressive gift or addition to any fine household or collection.
