拍品描述: A Fine and rare 19th century French brass with bronze mounts striking and repeating, 8 day-going alarm carriage clock dated 1883, with an acanthus leaf adorned hinged carrying handle, acanthus adorned column form mounts complementing beveled glass side and top escapement views, large white enamel dial signed Batardon Paris, over an engraved floral form background, with Roman numeral hour designations, Arabic numeral minute markers, subsidiary alarm function, blued steel spade hands, striking the hours and quarters. Sonnerie/ silence/ selection lever in the base. Movement signed: Aiguilles Aig Reveil. This timepiece clock will make an envious addition to any fine household or collection. DETAILS: - SIZE: 4 1/8" Length x 3 5/8" Width x 8 1/4" Height. - CONDITION: Normal wear constant with age, overall excellent working condition.
