拍品描述: A near life-size ceramic bust of an Amercan Indian Warrior made by the renowned Viennese ceramic manufacture of Friedrich Goldscheider (1845 a€“ 1897) circa 1890, in high relief with a rich and contrasting patina finish, long floating hair, beautiful necklace, head turned to one side provides a beautiful profile in silhouette, raised on a stylized concave plinth base. This sculpture would make an impressive addition to any fine household or collection. ARTIST SIGNATURE / MARKS: Signed on the lower back a€?F. Goldscheider, Wiena€?, a€?Austriaa€? and numbered a€?576a€?, and a€?VIa€?. There is also a copyright note prohibiting duplication.
