A rare massive 3 piece Egyptian Revival Tiffany & CO New York marble clock and garniture urn set, parcel gilt black and rouge marble edifice style flower adorned case with ormolu bronze mount lion mask pull style handles on either side, gilt egg and dart chapter ring, applied gold tone Roman numeral hour hands, matching gold tone fancy spade hands, rich melodic chime one the hour, the movement marked TIFFANY & Co. New-York 1716, with French maker mark, "MEDAILLE DE BRONZE L. Marti et Le ai" 6 - 9. Set set includes a matching pair of planter urn form garnitures of gilt bronze and two tone engraved parcel gilt marble, the urn having a brass insert, a pair of high relief lion form and semi -nude female form sphinx standing on either side of shell adorned lion masks with pull form handles in the mouth, with acanthus leaf and Neoclassical female faces in the surround. This clock set as so many nice things going for it, and is in overall excellent original running condition, keeps great time and would make an incredible investment grade addition to any fine household or collection.
